Microsoft “Motocross Madness 2” to Feature Music From Epic Recording Artists Incubus

REDMOND, Wash., May 22, 2000 — Microsoft Corp. and Epic Records Group today announced they have reached an agreement to feature the song
“New Skin”
by Incubus in
“Motocross Madness™ 2,”
a new game for the PC from Microsoft.
“Motocross Madness 2”
is the sequel to the award-winning
“Motocross Madness,”
an action racing game that captures the raw adrenaline of professional motocross racing and freestyle stunt competition.

“Being a big fan of the band, I’m psyched to have Incubus in ‘Motocross Madness 2,'”
said Robb Rinard, senior game designer at Rainbow Studios.
“Our goal with the game was to develop a cutting-edge racing game with the music, action and racing brands that capture the raw spirit of motocross competition. Incubus will really make ‘Motocross Madness 2’ rock!”

Funk, thrash-rock and hip-hop meet in the sound of Incubus, the Southern California band whose second Epic/Immortal album,
“Make Yourself,”
is now certified gold. Co-produced by Incubus and Scott Litt (R.E.M., Nirvana, Days of the New),
“Make Yourself”
features the top-five radio hit
“Pardon Me.”
Incubus is supporting 311 on a major U.S. tour, and on July 2 will join the massive Ozzfest tour for the rest of the summer. Updated information can be found on the band’s Web site, http://www.enjoyincubus.com/ .

Set to hit shelves May 25, 2000,
“Motocross Madness 2”
