MSD2D.com Launches Premier Resource for SharePoint Developers

REDMOND, Wash., Feb. 4, 2002 — Microsoft Corp. today announced that MSD2D.com, an online resource for developers, administrators and users, today launched a premier Web site dedicated to Microsoft (r) SharePoint(tm). The new site, SharePointD2D.com, was designed using Microsoft .NET technology and will provide professionals using SharePoint with tech support 24 hours a day, mentored discussions, and a directory of more than 200 products for SharePoint in more than 56 categories, including several key vertical markets. Developers also can find code and administrator tips for a range of projects including SharePoint Team Services site development, capacity planning and setting up SharePoint Portal Server to search a competitor’s Web site. SharePointD2D.com also will offer a gallery of free Web Parts and a list of books to support project work, and will feature current news and announcements about SharePoint.

MSD2D.com is also responsible for the popular ExchangeD2D site which, like SharePointD2D.com, offers a wealth of product-specific information and services for Microsoft Exchange.
