Ready, Set, PASS: Professional Association of SQL Server Comes to Seattle For Annual User Conference

REDMOND, Wash., Sept. 27, 2002 — Join the Professional Association for SQL Server (PASS) as it hosts the PASS Community Summit — Seattle, the only user event exclusively dedicated to Microsoft®
SQL Server (TM) , the company’s flagship data management and analysis system. Gordon Mangione, vice president of SQL Server at Microsoft Corp., will deliver the opening keynote address highlighting the tremendous innovations and investments being made in SQL Server. Following will be a closer look at the inner workings of SQL Server with Bill Baker, general manager for SQL Server, and Distinguished Engineer Peter Spiro. These industry experts will share their views and vision on the future of data management and analysis and what that means for customers today.

The PASS Community Summit — Seattle will offer more than 100 technical presentations by more than 60 user experts, Microsoft Valued Professionals and members of the Microsoft development team. Three tracks are presented: data warehousing and business intelligence, enterprise database administration and deployment, and developing Web-enabled and line-of-business solutions. Attendees will gain expert knowledge in SQL Server Accelerator for Business Intelligence, OLAP, data mining, 64-bit analysis, high availability, ADO.NET and much more.
