Media Alert: Microsoft Debuts “The ISV Show”

What: “The ISV Show,” a Microsoft Studios production, modeled after a television talk show, highlights key technology directions and opportunities for emerging independent software vendors (ISVs). The series of broadcasts provides visibility into Microsoft Corp.’s target scenarios and approach to innovation. In addition, the show generates ideas on what areas companies might look at to deliver compelling and in-demand industry solutions.

Why: As a company committed to engendering innovation, Microsoft launches “The ISV Show” to share with emerging ISVs and industry partners the opportunities the company sees on the horizon.

Who: Viewers will join host Larry Gregory, technology specialist manager for Microsoft, as he interviews new guests each month.

Where: Viewers can catch the streaming video online at Microsoft’s partner and ISV Web site.

When: The shows are available on the site at all times and can be viewed with a 56Kbps dial-up connection, a 100Kbps stream for DSL and medium-bandwidth connections, and a 300KBps stream for T1 and high-bandwidth connections.

What Else: The first two episodes, which feature the topics of collaboration and mobility, are available now. The third show, about smart clients, will be available in May.
