Microsoft Will Host Ninth Annual Business Applications Customer Conference

REDMOND, Wash., Feb. 28, 2005 — Microsoft Business Solutions will host its annual North American customer conference, Convergence 2005, a four-day business and learning event, March 6-9 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego.

Convergence is one of the premier customer events for Microsoft Corp., offering customers the opportunity to learn how to further leverage their Microsoft®
investment and providing a strong sense of community through interactions with industry leaders, Microsoft Business Solutions team members, business partners and other customers.

Convergence 2005 will offer attendees a unique opportunity to preview new business applications, productivity tools and other Microsoft products in action; learn how to gain even greater value from the Microsoft solutions they use today; meet and network with other customers; and choose from an extensive menu of workshops developed to address the needs of an increasingly connected global marketplace.

Doug Burgum, Microsoft Corp. senior vice president and leader of the Microsoft Business Solutions business group, and Bill Gates, Microsoft chairman and chief software architect, will deliver keynote addresses to the more than 5,000 attendees, including customers, partners and team members.
