Transformation in education is fundamentally not about technology – Microsoft’s VP of Worldwide Education

Microsoft recently participated in the inaugural Bett Asia Leadership Summit 2014, the global meeting place for the education technology community, which was held in Singapore from 3 to 4 December 2014.

Anthony Salcito, Microsoft’s Vice President of Worldwide Education, gave a keynote address, where he shared thoughts about how educators in Asia Pacific and globally can accelerate the transformation of tomorrow’s classroom.

Additionally, Salcito highlighted that technology will play a key role in this transformation, but startled the audience when he asserted that the journey toward the future of education “is fundamentally not about technology”.
