Accelerating digital transformation journey of SMBs with latest cloud developments

14 March 2018, Hong Kong – Microsoft Hong Kong and Superhub today announced the launch of Hong Kong’s first “Cloud Experience Center – Supported by Microsoft” (“the CEC”) targeting small and medium-sized business (SMBs). Eddy Kuk, Managing Director of Superhub and Serena Cheung, Director for One Commercial Partner and Small, Medium & Corporate Customers, officiated at the opening ceremony of the CEC.

Tailor-made cloud experience for local SMBs
Located in Kwun Tong, the CEC is strategically positioned in the heart of Kowloon business and commercial district, with the aim to enhance cloud knowledge and experience of SMBs and enable them to effectively improve productivity through cloud adoption. The CEC can accommodate more than 30 people with a Microsoft Surface Hub that is a first-of-its-kind collaboration device designed to unlock the power of the group with the best digital tools. With Windows 10, Surface Hub provides a platform to build amazing large-screen apps for group productivity, such as the already-built in custom Office, Skype for Business and Power BI apps. It features advanced technology for the modern workplace and the flexibility to turn any room into a collaborative space

“Microsoft is committed to providing the very best, comprehensive software and hardware solutions and services to SMBs. First-time ever, we are excited to support our award-winning Cloud Solution Provider (CSP), Superhub, in launching the CEC for SMBs in Hong Kong. This will enable SMBs to better understand the latest developments in cloud solutions and enjoy the benefits of adopting cloud,“ said Serena Cheung.

Eddy Kuk explained “Superhub has always been devoted to promoting cloud technology. This time, cooperating with Microsoft, a leader in cloud computing, we’ve set up the CEC to popularize the use of cloud technologies for Hong Kong SMBs. Superhub will continue to work closely with Microsoft to help SMBs continue to invest in cloud services.”

More than 40 workshops provided to SMBs each year
From this month onwards, Microsoft will be partnering with Superhub to provide comprehensive cloud experience workshops for all SMBs in Hong Kong. Microsoft and Superhub plan to hold about 4 workshops a month – for a total of 40 workshops a year – in the CEC and have invited SMCs to register.
