Big 5 is the largest construction event in the Middle East, and for the past 36 years, it has been a key meeting place for industry professionals to network with suppliers and distributers from around the world.

Emergence of new technologies, combined with advanced construction techniques, inclination towards cost cutting, and the development of more streamlined ways for carrying out projects; has brought about a new shift in business practices of construction firms. According to Pinsent Masons’ annual GCC Construction Survey, the UAE construction market retains a steady pace of growth due to infrastructure spending in Dubai. Furthermore, Business Monitor International (BMI) Research forecasts a growth of 6.6 percent for the UAE construction market, almost 4 percent ahead of IMF’s forecasted 2.6 percent for the wider economy.
