Allison Watson: Worldwide Partner Conference 2008 Closing Remarks

Remarks by Allison Watson, corporate vice president, Worldwide Partner Group
Houston, Texas
Thursday, July 10, 2008

ALLISON WATSON: All right. Well, we’re closing up. Thanks for a great morning. Thanks for your time and attention. I wanted to close with a few important things. Number one, I want to start with, this has been an amazing venue, it’s been an amazing event, and it takes a team of people to make a difference here. So I want to start and get everyone in the room to give a round of applause for the people you can’t see, the people in the booth, the people underneath the stage, let’s thank them for the amazing work they did. (Applause.)

Secondly, just to remind you, the Digital WPC is up and running. We’ve live broadcast everything we’ve done this week, so you can take it back to your teams at home and communicate the messages that were important to you.

Number three, we will be starting our regional keynotes promptly at 11:00 a.m., so please find your way there.

And number four, I always like to announce WPC 2009, and I thought I’d play a little guess the location game. Let’s guess the location. We figured it’s definitely time to go back to New Orleans.

So tonight, one more final detail, our partner celebration, straight up at 6:00, Minute Maid Park. We will have three bands, including the EB Fraley Band on live at 7:00. Please wear your wristband. And the EB Fraley Band is still signing autographs at noon today, following this event.

Finally, I just want to leave you with a couple of thoughts. I started the week by saying anything you can imagine is real. This week was full of ideas to create the imagination and spark going. And then together we can make a difference.

Thank you.
