MADRID, Spain – May 19, 2015 – Real Madrid C.F. is one of the most successful and widely supported sports organizations in the world. But with only 3% of Real Madrid’s fans actually living in Madrid, it has become increasingly important for the club to find ways to directly connect with supporters worldwide.
On Tuesday, Real Madrid hosted a press conference at Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Spain, unveiling the new Real Madrid app. Real Madrid and Microsoft are working together to revolutionize the club and connect fans worldwide through technology. The Real Madrid app will give users to access the stadium, player and club statistics in real-time, and the ability to connect with friends and fans around the world.
The b-roll package includes English and Spanish versions with soundbites from José Ángel Sánchez, CEO of Real Madrid futbol (soccer) club in both languages, soundbites from Florentino Pérez, President of Real Madrid in Spanish, b-roll of the Real Madrid app, the press conference and additional footage in English and Spanish.
