Microsoft conversation on transitioning service members to promising careers

Ahead of Veterans Day, the Microsoft Innovation & Policy Center in Washington, D.C., hosted a round table discussion on training to help transitioning service members secure high-paying IT careers. Called “More Than a Job: A Frank Conversation on Transitioning Service Members to Promising Careers,” the conversation brought together experts from the U.S. Department of Labor Veterans’ Employment and Training Service; the office of Senator Patty Murray, D-Washington; Hiring Our Heroes; Duke University; and the Soldier for Life Program.
