™workstation. This new platform delivers extraordinary levels of price/performance to customers of Softimage® 3D.
Softimage – among the first companies to support the new line – previewed the latest version of its cutting-edge 3-D animation software, Softimage 3D version 3.7, today at the Silicon Graphics launch event. Scheduled to ship in early spring, this new version of Softimage 3D will take full advantage of the OCTANE architecture, including multiprocessor, texturing and powerful I/O capabilities. workstation with the next generation of Softimage 3D, code-named
