.com travel service will win a fantasy week in Acapulco, Mexico, with seven of their best friends in the “Take Your Friends to Acapulco Sweepstakes.”

“Travelers who visit Expedia.com are looking for comprehensive, low-cost travel options and information about exciting vacation destinations,” said Josh Herst, group product manager, Microsoft Expedia.com. “Now, through the ‘Take Your Friends to Acapulco Sweepstakes,’ we’ve added another reason for people to visit Expedia.com – the opportunity to take their friends and family on a vacation to one of the world’s most renowned tropical getaways.”

The sweepstakes winner and seven friends will receive round-trip airfare courtesy of Continental Airlines. Upon arrival in Acapulco, they’ll be whisked away to the outstanding ocean-view accommodations of the Hyatt Regency Acapulco, for a total of seven consecutive nights. Hyatt will also send the group to an evening performance at “La Quebrada,” where professional divers make the heart-stopping plunge 130 feet from jagged cliffs into the shallow waters of Acapulco Bay.

It is open to residents of the United States and Canada 21 years of age or older, excluding residents of Puerto Rico and Quebec. The prize drawing will take place on or around March 15, 1998.
