Microsoft’s Accessibility Policy

The following policy was officially adopted by Microsoft Corporation in July of 1995, and announced by Paul Maritz at Microsoft’s Accessibility Summit 95:

As a leader in the software industry, Microsoft Corporation recognizes its responsibility to develop products and information technologies that are accessible and usable by all people, including those with disabilities. We will devote the time and resources necessary to ensure that all users enjoy access to our products, technologies and services. It is the responsibility of everyone at Microsoft to deliver on this commitment.
