Jadallah Opens Fusion 98 with Keynote to 2,600 MCSPs
Sam Jadallah, vice president of the Organization Customer Unit at Microsoft, opened Fusion 98 in New Orleans on Saturday, May 30, with a keynote address to more than 2,600 Microsoft Certified Solution Providers (MCSPs) from all over the world. Jadallah spoke on the business challenges and opportunities for service organizations. During his keynote, Jadallah discussed Microsoft’s investment in the channel and MCSPs’ increasing profitability.
Announcements at the show included the introduction of a new online MCSP Technical Service Desk; the addition of several new vendors to the MCSP Alliance; the introduction of Microsoft Seminar Online; the ongoing success of Skills 2000; the evolution of the MCSD track; and the introduction of a web-site builder certification.
