MSFDC combines the software development expertise of Microsoft with First Data Corporation’s proven transaction processing capabilities.
The service will add extensive value to banks, enabling them to increase the scope of their product offerings to their customers. It also will help billers reduce costs, and improve their marketing capabilities and customer service options.
Microsoft and First Data have formed an advisory board with representatives from major financial institutions, industry associations and billing service providers to advise MSFDC on emerging industry and consumer needs, development of innovative products and services, and on regulatory and information-security issues.
