™Sidewalk® , the online guide that helps consumers make better decisions about how to spend their time and money, recently announced online distribution and advertising agreements with several top Internet Web sites. By creating marketing alliances with some of the most visited sites on the Internet, including an exclusive agreement with Infoseek Corp., MSN Sidewalk will be easily accessible to millions of online consumers every day.
Beginning this week, MSN Sidewalk will be featured on more than 100 leading sites, including Infoseek, The Weather Channel
, AllApartments, Excite, Switchboard, InfoSpace, ESPN Sportszone, Christmas98, HotBot, WorldPages, broadcast.com, U.S. News and World Report, USA Today, the Wall Street Journal, GTE, The Mining Co. and AltaVista Search. These agreements were announced following the recent launch of the expanded version of MSN Sidewalk, which added a Buyer’s Guide and Yellow Pages to its already popular Entertainment Guide.
Major Distribution Deals
Online consumers will find a convenient link to the Yellow Pages on MSN Sidewalk on the header of every Infoseek page. In addition, MSN Sidewalk is an exclusive sponsor of city pages on The Weather Channel (http://weather.com/). And, for those Internet users in search of a new apartment or settling into a new city, AllApartments has links to the MSN Sidewalk Yellow Pages, Buyer’s Guide and Entertainment Guide throughout its site.
In addition, MSN Sidewalk is featured on all MSN network sites, including MSN.com, MSNBC, MSN Hotmail and the MSN Expedia
travel service. Users at each of these destinations will be able to use MSN Sidewalk to make better decisions about how to spend their time and money, whether they’re planning to buy a camcorder, find a pediatrician with evening hours or plan a great night on the town.
