SEATTLE, Wash., July 22, 1999 — Microsoft is meeting today with more than 200 of the world’s leading financial analysts in an annual event designed to provide them with further insights into Microsoft’s business. The theme of this year’s meeting is “changing the world through software,” and the analysts have gathered at the Bell Harbor International Conference Center on Seattle’s central waterfront to hear the details of that message from many of the company’s top executives, including Chairman and CEO Bill Gates and President Steve Ballmer.
The meeting will be broadcast live on Microsoft’s Investor Relations Web site , and written transcripts of the presentations by Gates, Ballmer and other company executives will posted online as soon as possible after each presentation.
