BizTalk Server 2000 Raises the Bar for XML Integration, Wins eWeek’s Analyst’s Choice Award

REDMOND, Wash., March 16, 2001 — Microsoft® BizTalk™
Server 2000 has been awarded eWeek’s coveted Analyst’s Choice Award. One of the industry’s most recognized awards was bestowed on BizTalk Server 2000 earlier this week, after eWeek’s lab issued its rave review of the recently released BizTalk Server 2000.

According to the review,
“Companies that expect XML to become the lingua franca of business data interactions will find BizTalk Server 2000 to be an excellent translator. The product provides some of the most powerful and intuitive tools available for creating, managing and distributing XML data, making it an Analyst’s Choice.”

One of only a few Analyst’s Choice Awards handed out by eWeek each year, this acknowledgement is a testament to Microsoft’s ability to bring to market a comprehensive XML-based integration and orchestration solution for the new agile enterprise.

And to quote the March 12 column of eWeek editor-in-chief Eric Lundquist,
“It will be products such as BizTalk Server 2000 that allow companies to fully integrate their e-business operations and get the high-tech industry back on track.”
