REDMOND, Wash., Aug. 29, 2002 — Join Microsoft Corp. executives, customers and industry partners at MEC 2002 in Anaheim, Calif., the essential Microsoft conference for planning, deploying and managing a connected enterprise. Paul Flessner, senior vice president of Microsoft® .NET Enterprise Servers at Microsoft, will deliver the opening keynote address at this year’s MEC, Tuesday, Oct. 8. He will talk about the product road map for the .NET Enterprise Servers and how to strengthen security, and demonstrate how to fully optimize Microsoft Windows®

MEC is better than ever in 2002. Thousands of IT professionals, developers and enterprise business decision-makers plan to attend four days of interactive training. There will be ample opportunity to meet with industry experts, customers and Microsoft product team members who know the most about messaging, collaboration, mobility and enterprise solutions. In the Product Expo, there will be more than 150 industry partners showing off the hottest new tools and technologies. In addition, attendees can take advantage of more than 200 sessions, three times as many hands-on labs, and a party at Disney’s California Adventure.
