8 Butterfly Squad is helping transform dreams into reality for some aspiring young fashion designers. The MSN 8 Butterfly Squad will make special visits to the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club (B & GC) and the MSN-sponsored Elisa Jimenez show at the midtown venue Show as part of Fashion Week.

The MSN 8 Butterfly Squad and New York butterfly-inspired fashion designer Elisa Jimenez will land at the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club on Friday, Feb. 7, at 4 p.m. to announce the MSN 8 Honorary Butterflies. The Honorary Butterflies, who were chosen based on essay submissions, are select B & GC members who aspire to careers in fashion.

Once selected, the MSN 8 Honorary Butterflies will accompany the MSN 8 Butterfly Squad to a star-studded Fashion Week event to see Jimenez’s butterfly designs firsthand. Following the event, the Honorary Butterflies will interview the designer and other celebrities in attendance.

Jimenez herself has created a unique MSN 8 Butterfly-inspired design that will be modeled during the show. Following the show, this one-of-a-kind design will be auctioned via uBid ( http://www.ubid.com/ ) with all proceeds donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
