REDMOND, Wash., Sept. 12, 2003 — Microsoft Corp. today announced that its Board of Directors declared its second annual dividend. The Board approved an increase in the annual dividend to $0.16 per share in Fiscal Year 2004 from the $0.08 per share declared in Fiscal Year 2003. The dividend is payable November 7, 2003, to shareholders of record at the close of business on October 17, 2003.
