REDMOND, Wash., Sept. 29, 2004 — Superman has Clark Kent, Spider-Man has Peter Parker, and Mac users have an “inner suit” of their own. Microsoft

Office 2004 for Mac partners with Mac users’ inner suit, allowing them to focus on being their creative selves while their alter egos get down to business. Due to great feedback from its Inner Suit advertising campaign, Microsoft Corp.’s Macintosh Business Unit (Mac BU) today launched its nationwide Win Your Inner Suit sweepstakes, which folks can enter to win a replica action figure of themselves as a business professional. In addition, individuals can take Office 2004 for a test drive to see the product in action.
“Office 2004 was built for Mac users who want to work more efficiently and is already helping our customers achieve this goal,” said Scott Erickson, group product manager for the Macintosh Business Unit at Microsoft. “This product is designed to appeal to a Mac customer’s inner business suit, and the sweepstakes is an opportunity for them to meet their inner suit face to face. We’re also encouraging Mac users who aren’t familiar with Office 2004 to check it out and see how the solution works — they can just download the free 30-day test drive* and take it for a spin.”
The inner suit is the alter ego in all Mac users who handles the business details. Mac users are known for their creativity, but that doesn’t mean they don’t also know how to take care of business. For example, a fashion designer might be ankle-deep in wool preparing the fall line, but the inner suit needs to set up spreadsheets to track expenses and invoicing, manage communications associated with projects, and keep tabs on the production details. Office 2004 is a best friend to the Mac user’s inner suit, helping the user complete these tasks efficiently, so he or she can get back to the business of being creative.
Through December, individuals can enter for a chance to win their inner suit replica action figure and a copy of Office 2004 for Mac. More information on sweepstakes rules and privacy, as well as entry forms, is available at http://www.microsoft.com/mac/go/doll . No purchase is necessary to win.
