FRx Software Adds Five New Partners to Its Roster

DENVER, Oct. 11, 2004 — FRx Software Corp., a Microsoft company and a part of Microsoft Business Solutions, today announced it has signed five new software development companies to its Integration Partner program. These companies join the roster of FRx
Software Integration Partners, which includes Best Software, Epicor Software Corp., MAPICS Inc. and Thomson Elite, bringing the total number of Integration Partners to 30. The new FRx Software Integration Partners are Dexter + Chaney Inc., a leader in the construction management software industry; Pacejet Logistics Inc., a provider of advanced logistics resource management solutions; Perennial Software, a developer of business management solutions for the security alarm industry; Software21 Inc., a leading provider of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and supply chain applications to the manufacturing industry; and TSC Solutions LLC, a developer of construction management software applications.

“We are thrilled to welcome these new, industry-leading companies to our Integration Partner program,” said Holly Simpson, vice president of Partner Sales at FRx Software. “Together, we can deliver financial reporting and budgeting solutions to give customers the control to effectively manage their business. With more accurate, timely and intelligent financial data at their fingertips, they can remove barriers to success and make informed decisions that drive business growth.”

The FRx Software Integration Partner program is designed to extend the availability of Microsoft®
Business Solutions for Analytics–FRx and Microsoft Business Solutions for Analytics–Forecaster to the midmarket segment and emerging enterprise companies looking to gain tighter control over their financial performance and gain more visibility into the financial health of their organizations. FRx Software Integration Partners are general ledger and ERP solution developers that package FRx and Forecaster with their own products and offer them as additional applications to their product suites.

FRx Software financial analytic applications focus on the unique needs and pains of financial professionals at midmarket segment companies, so Integration Partners can offer analytic solutions specific to their customers’ needs; the Integration Partner doesn’t need to devote scarce resources to developing those specific applications itself. Likewise, joint customers can be confident their financial reports and resulting forecasts are timely and accurate, giving decision-makers a comprehensive view into their business. Partnering with FRx Software is a tremendous business opportunity because of the company’s strong brand recognition and the substantial need in the market segment for more robust financial analytic applications.
