REDMOND, Wash. — March 5, 2007 — Microsoft Research will host a live webcast keynote presentation Tuesday, March 6, to discuss the future of computing technology. Rick Rashid, senior vice president of Microsoft Research, will discuss how the research labs fit into the cycle of innovation and contribute to the company’s future. Researchers will demonstrate new technologies across a broad range of disciplines, including search, collaboration and interaction. A virtual pressroom (VPR) with additional materials will go live at 11 a.m. PST, following the keynote.
