REDMOND, Wash. — July 19, 2010 — This month the Windows Embedded Business is celebrating an important milestone: more than 1,000 professionals received their Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) certificate for Windows Embedded technologies. Just three years ago this program was launched to provide a way for developers to demonstrate to customers, peers and employers that they are committed to advancing their skills and taking on greater challenges.

In fact, according to a survey from Redmond Magazine, 43 percent of survey respondents report salary increases as a result of Microsoft Certification.
