Scenes from Windows Phone 7 Launch in Europe Australia, and New Zealand

REDMOND, Wash. – Oct. 21, 2010 – The much-awaited launch of Windows Phone 7 has begun, with the first handsets going on sale yesterday in New Zealand, followed shortly in countries throughout Europe and Asia Pacific, including Australia, Belgium, France, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Singapore, Spain and the U.K.

In each country consumers lined up to be among the first to own the new devices, which have garnered widespread praise in the industry press. Consumers in the U.S. will be able to purchase Windows Phone 7 devices beginning Nov. 8. In the meantime, a video demo is available showing the new devices in action.
