Microsoft Corp. and the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team announced a multiyear partnership that puts Microsoft’s technologies at the heart of race team operations. Microsoft Azure and its AI capabilities will expand the Team’s existing high-performance computing and data capabilities, both at the factory and trackside, with scalable cloud and AI resources supporting simulation workloads, performance analysis, race strategy modelling and cross-team analytics.

Microsoft Corp. and Levi Strauss & Co. (NYSE: LEVI) (LS&Co.) are spotlighting their shared vision for the future of retail, powered by AI and cloud innovation. The latest example is a new Azure-native orchestrator agent embedded within Microsoft Teams to help streamline operations and empower employees across corporate, retail and warehouse environments. The orchestrator agent serves as the portal for employees to ask questions, which can then be answered by any number of behind-the-scenes agents, all filtered through one conversational “superagent.”

An AI copilot from Moveworks has helped automate IT help desk requests, reducing the number of tickets humans have to address by 80%. Another virtual assistant, Red, leverages Honeywell’s archive of 350,000 pages of product manuals and more than 50,000 internal articles to answer questions.

AI Impact at Dow: Copilot Identifies Millions in Cost Savings

By leveraging Copilot and AI agents, Dow has automated the analysis of over 100,000 PDF invoices annually, identifying billing inaccuracies and potential savings. This system is expected to save the company millions of dollars with industry sources indicating that a robust freight auditing process can help save companies an average of 3% on freight expenses.

GE Aerospace

GE Aerospace has launched AI Wingmate, a generative AI platform, to enhance productivity for its 52,000 employees. Since its launch, the system has received ~500,000 queries, searches, and other employee interactions and processed 200,000+ pages for different AI chats. AI Wingmate helps employees quickly obtain information, perform advanced searches, and create tailored communications.
