Raj Raguneethan currently leads Microsoft’s retail and consumer goods industries business across Asia and is part of the company’s worldwide retail and consumer goods leadership team. Bringing over 25 years of experience in working with global and regional customers, Raguneethan collaborates with partners to drive the digital transformation journey of retail and consumer goods customers.
Prior to his current role, Raguneethan led the Asia emerging solutions team. He was also the sales lead for the retail and distribution business unit where he managed Microsoft’s business applications segment for retail, distribution and consumer industries in the region.
Before joining Microsoft in 2010, Raguneethan was the senior director for commercial applications at Oracle Corporation. During his tenure at Oracle, he held various leadership roles including the lead for the commercial applications business and the industry lead for wholesale and distribution in Asia.
Raguneethan holds a Computing and Business Management degree from the University of Macquarie, Australia, as well as a Computing degree from the British Computer Society (BCS). He is married with two children, and in his spare time, he enjoys cycling, playing cricket, practicing yoga and watching sports.
