As the Vice President for Sales, Marketing and Operations for Microsoft in APAC, Sandy is responsible for helping businesses in the region accelerate their digital transformation journeys. He does this by leveraging his extensive global experiences and industry partnerships to ensure enterprises, the public sector, digital natives, and micro-small and medium businesses in Asia Pacific have access to strategic counsel and transformative technologies to achieve their business goals.
Sandy has been with Microsoft since 2008, and prior to moving to Singapore, he was the Vice President for the global Industry team in Seattle, where he led the development of Microsoft’s vertical industry focus, established strategic collaborations with the ecosystem and helped businesses innovate in their respective segments. His global experiences include being the Vice President of Public Sector Sales for Microsoft in China, where he led the transformation of industry verticals and established start-up incubation programs across the country, driving sustainable growth in the economy. He started his career at Microsoft as the General Manager for Open Solutions focusing on building new ecosystem of Open-Source Solution partners on Microsoft Cloud and Server platforms.
Sandy spent more than 15 years in the Unix industry before joining Microsoft. He is an alumnus of Kellogg School of Management and a degree in Computer Engineering. He is married with two children, lives in Singapore and is a marathon runner.
