Ab Ende Mai 2021 übernimmt Catrin Hinkel die Leitung von Microsoft Schweiz. Sie kommt von Accenture, wo sie zuletzt für den Bereich Cloud First Strategy & Consulting in Europa verantwortlich war.

Catrin Hinkel schloss 1992 ihr zweisprachiges Studium an der Universität Reutlingen (European Business School in Reutlingen und London) ab. Nach ihrem Abschluss trat Catrin Hinkel in die global tätige Unternehmensberatung Accenture ein. Dort war sie über die Jahre in verschiedenen Funktionen tätig und zuletzt als Senior Managing Director für den Bereich Cloud First Strategy & Consulting in Europa verantwortlich.

Seit 2007 war Catrin Hinkel Mitglied der Geschäftsleitung von Accenture Deutschland. Sie verfügt über reichhaltige Berufserfahrung aus Kundenprojekten in unterschiedlichen Industrien, zum Beispiel Telekommunikation, Medien, Technologie, Healthcare sowie der öffentlichen Hand. Bis 2012 verantwortete sie das gesamte SAP-Implementierungsgeschäft von Accenture im deutschsprachigen Raum.

Als Human Capital & Diversity Lead für Deutschland, Österreich und die Schweiz engagierte sich Catrin Hinkel bei Accenture auch stark für die Themen Diversity & Inclusion. Seit 2007 ist sie Mitglied und seit 2015 Sprecherin des Vorstandes von «Generation CEO», einem gemeinnützigen Verein und etablierten Netzwerk für Top-Führungsfrauen im deutschsprachigen Raum. Dort setzt sie sich gezielt dafür ein, Hürden für weibliche Führungskräften auf dem Weg ins Top-Management abzubauen. Seit 2020 ist sie zudem Mitglied des Beirates von Startup Teens, der reichweitenstärksten digitalen Bildungsplattform in Deutschland, die Schülerinnen und Schülern unternehmerisches Denken und Handeln sowie Coding beibringt.

Catrin Hinkel wurde 1969 geboren und ist deutsche Staatsbürgerin. Für ihre neue Tätigkeit wird sie ihren Wohnsitz von Deutschland in die Schweiz verlegen. Catrin Hinkel tritt ihre neue Stelle am 31. Mai 2021 an. Sie folgt auf Marianne Janik, die im November 2020 die Leitung von Microsoft Deutschland übernommen hat. Bis zum Antritt von Catrin Hinkel wird Microsoft Schweiz interimistisch von Didier Ongena, dem Country General Manager von Microsoft BeLux, geführt.

Microsoft annonce de nouveaux PC Surface pour entreprises boostés à l’IA

Nous sommes ravis d’annoncer aujourd’hui nos premiers PC Surface boostés à l’IA et pensés exclusivement pour les entreprises : les Surface Pro 10 et Surface Laptop 6, qui seront disponibles à partir d’avril 2024. Ces PC ont été conçus pour intégrer les fonctionnalités demandées par les professionnels : optimisation pour Copilot, une connectique revisitée, un lecteur NFC1, un focus mis sur les performances et la sécurité avec les derniers processeurs Intel Core Ultra et intégrant un NPU (Neural Processor unit ou unité de traitement neuronal) permettant d’alimenter les expériences d’IA (économisant l’usage de la batterie, du CPU et du GPU).
