Two new members in the Leadership Team of Microsoft Switzerland

Microsoft Switzerland is appointing two new members to the Leadership Team as of September 15: Shipra Singh takes over as the new Head of HR and Alexander Gaertner as the new Chief Financial Officer. They succeed Caroline Rogge and Anita Ratkovic Andric respectively, who have taken new roles inside of Microsoft.

Microsoft Switzerland is announcing two new additions to the Swiss Leadership team: Shipra Singh will join the team as the new HR Director for Austria and Switzerland and Alexander Gaertner will become the new Chief Financial Officer of Microsoft Switzerland both starting on September 15. “We are delighted to have both Shipra and Alexander with us on board. Their vast experience will support our mission to empower every person and every organization in Switzerland to achieve more,” says Catrin Hinkel, Country General Manager at Microsoft Switzerland.

Shipra Singh comes with over 21 years of experience in HR across various roles in HR leadership. For the past 5 years, she has been with Microsoft as the HRD and Talent Development Director for MCAPS India Area wherein she partnered with business and the Indian HR team. A passionate advocate of Diversity & Inclusion, she has been the executive HR sponsor for the LGBTQIA+ and Families Employee Resource Groups in India. Prior to Microsoft, Shipra Singh has worked within varied industries and organizations, such as Standard Chartered Bank, Motorola and GE, partnering on the people and culture transformation journey.

Alexander Gaertner is an experienced Chief Financial Officer with a demonstrated history of working in the information technology and services industry for the past 15 years. He has worked as Commercial Finance Director at Microsoft Germany in the past three years and in various roles at IBM before joining our company. He has held a variety of positions within Finance, Internal Audit and Operations in the MEA region, and as CFO of IBM RCIS. Throughout his career he has been leading diverse teams with a high performance culture. Alexander Gaertner holds a Master’s degree of International Business Administration from Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration. Next to his internal duties as CFO,  Alexander Gaertner will also act as an advisor to customers across Switzerland in their digital transformation towards modern finance.

The Leadership Team of Microsoft Switzerland now consists of the following members: Catrin Hinkel (General Manager), Simone Frömming (Enterprise Commercial), Calin Turcanu (M&O), Shipra Singh (HR), Alexander Gaertner (CFO), Roger Altorfer (CSU), René Hürlimann (STU), Christian Widmer (Public Sector), Andrew Reid (Partner), Karim Tejani (Legal), Martin Haas (SMC), Bjørn Vestergaard (Microsoft Consulting), and Marc Holitscher (NTO).

Microsoft annonce de nouveaux PC Surface pour entreprises boostés à l’IA

Nous sommes ravis d’annoncer aujourd’hui nos premiers PC Surface boostés à l’IA et pensés exclusivement pour les entreprises : les Surface Pro 10 et Surface Laptop 6, qui seront disponibles à partir d’avril 2024.
