Zurich, June 4, 2025 – Microsoft Switzerland today announced that Martin Stefik assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) as of June 1, 2025. He succeeds Alexander Gaertner, who has taken on the CFO position at Microsoft Germany.
In his new role, Martin Stefik reports to Anita Ratkovic Andric, General Manager Finance Western Europe, Switzerland and Netherlands at Microsoft. He also joins Microsoft Switzerland’s leadership team.
Stefik brings 14 years of finance leadership experience at Microsoft. Most recently, he served as Commercial Finance Director for Microsoft’s Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa region. He began his career with the company in 2010 in Slovakia and has held senior financial roles in Munich and Prague. Stefik holds a master’s degree in finance, banking and investment from Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia.
