Jo Dooley
Vice President, Microsoft
As Vice President, Microsoft, Jo leads the Australia and New Zealand’s Enterprise commercial business and is part of the Microsoft ANZ senior leadership team. Jo’s role is to lead the team in delivering differentiated value to clients and prioritizing quality customer outcomes -utilizing our AI portfolio to drive digital transformation and cyber resilience.
Jo joined Microsoft Australia in 2018 as Chief Customer Officer, focused on leading our professional services consulting team.
Prior to Microsoft, Jo was the Director of Client Services SEEK A/NZ, where she was charged to lead 300+ client services team to solve hirers’ problems across the human capital marketplace. Jo led business development, account management and operations across all segments.
Prior to SEEK, Jo spent 16 years with IBM where she held leadership roles across strategy, sales, client relationship teams, operations and marketing, in Australia, New Zealand and Asia Pacific. Jo was part of the IBM Australia board, reporting to the CEO and was also a member of the IBM diversity council.
Jo is deeply passionate about career development of teams and leaders- in particular promoting digital skilling. She is highly networked, with a focus on supporting women through CEW and Microsoft Employee resource group, Women@Microsoft and Mentor Walks Australia.
As a defence family member, Jo is passionate and driven to support Veterans through her role as Executive Sponsor for Military at Microsoft ERG, connecting the military community into the corporate world. She is also a non-executive director of Gallipoli Medical Research (GMR) to support veteran health outcomes.
In 2017, Jo was awarded a scholarship from Chief Executive Women (CEW) to attend the Executive Development Program at the Wharton Business School. In July 2023, she became a member of Chief Executive Women (CEW). And in 2020, Jo was awarded the Bill Gates Founders Award, as one of 25 employees globally to receive the award which recognises excellence in customer success and contributions to the Microsoft Australia subsidiary.
