Elena Wise
Director, Specialist Technology Unit
Elena leads our Specialist Sales organisation in Australia and New Zealand, responsible for all of our technical sales specialists across all of our cloud platforms for all Enterprise customers. Her team works with our customers to drive innovation and digital transformation to meet their business goals.
Elena spent 7 years working in Japan for Google Japan as the Google Technical Services Director, and prior to that as the PayPal Japan Country Manager. Prior to this, Elena spent 16 years in payments with PayPal and American Express in various business and technology roles across Asia Pacific.
Before her career in payments, she was the IT Strategy Manager and Shared IT Operations Centre Manager at Boral Australia, a large Australian multi-national in the energy and construction business. She started her career at Coopers & Lybrand Australia and UK in Management Consulting Services.
In addition, Elena was elected as a Councillor on Sydney’s Woollahra Municipal Council in 2012.
She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting, Finance & Information Systems) from the University of New South Wales, and an Executive MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management and is a Chartered Accountant.
