Executive Biographies

Vivek Puthucode leads the Public Sector business for Microsoft in the ANZ region. In his role, Vivek leads a team that is focused on supporting our customers across the Federal, State, and local governments, Defence and Public Security agencies, Healthcare and Education organisations across Australia and New Zealand. Vivek has been with Microsoft for over 9 years, leading our Public Sector and Global Partner Solutions teams in APAC. Prior to joining Microsoft, he had a successful career at SAP in a variety of Public Sector leadership roles across ANZ, Asia Pacific and Japan.

This is in addition to over a decade in leadership roles within our partner ecosystem and consulting organisations in the Asia Pacific region where Vivek took on various roles deploying enterprise resource planning technology to support business transformation, shared services, and performance management systems across Australian Federal Government & State Government agencies.

Vivek has contributed to developing thought leadership and best practice sharing across governments, developed deep engagements with government leaders and connection with the public sector community around technology. He is deeply passionate about the role of technology in providing access, equity, and quality education to children, to improve employability and quality of life.

Vivek holds a bachelor’s degree in science, a post graduate diploma in management and is also currently an associate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
