Microsoft Traineeship Program overview

Announcing the launch of the Microsoft Traineeship Program

Microsoft is proud to launch the Microsoft Traineeship Program, which aims to support over 150 people take their first steps into a technology career.

Commencing with a pilot in Sydney in 2019, the Program will combine a Certificate IV in Information Technology and Microsoft Certifications with paid work experience. This combination of knowledge and experience will set students up to embark upon a successful career, as well as help address the technical skills shortage in Australia.

Working with strategic delivery partners MEGT, Prodigy Learning and TAFE NSW — as well as the network of Microsoft partners around the country — Microsoft aims to create a new pipeline of exceptional IT talent.

For Microsoft partners and customers interested in hosting a Microsoft Trainee, this is an opportunity to get access to new and emerging talent from a diverse talent pool.

For aspiring trainees, this program provides an excellent foot-in-the-door to an exciting and rewarding career in IT.
