Bing has launched its News, Weather, Finance and Sports apps on Windows Phone 8. The apps, which are already popular on Windows 8, provide users with access to the latest headlines, meteorological forecasts, stocks and sports results all while on the go.
As with the Windows 8 versions, all the apps are customisable so users can personalise the experience to get the information they want, when they want.
Bing News provides a personalised news service on the go. Users can customise the news sources and topics they like, read articles from a wide range of credible outlets including The Guardian, Sky News and The Independent. News can be pinned to the home screen where users can see latest headlines on the Live Tile, watch videos, get breaking news alerts and more.
Bing Weather provides all weather information including current conditions, hourly and 10 day forecasts, maps and weather based on current location as well as their favourite places anywhere in the world. Users can be prepared for all conditions with weather alerts and see current weather and temperature conditions from the home screen on the Live Tile.

Bing Finance provides up to date finance news and allows users to read the latest articles, see market quotes and customise market watch lists and sources. Users can pin favourite companies or stocks to the homescreen and get Live Tile updates throughout the day.
Bing Sports ensures sports fans are kept up to date at all times. It includes 60 worldwide leagues and allows users to access the latest scores, read articles, view photos and videos and customise options for a favourite team, with more leagues and teams being added all the time.
This is just the beginning for Bing apps as we continue to reimagine and reinvent the Windows experience.
