FUTURE DECODED: So what about tomorrow?

What does the future hold for me? My organisation? The UK? One thing is for certain, the intensification in the interconnectivity between people, businesses and institutions within, and across, national borders seems set to continue and will likely drive further heated debate around the benefits and costs to modern life.

The complex interplay between the local, national, and the global stage with the associated balancing of interests, often conflicting, will require ever stronger leadership and diplomatic skills. So what might it take for you, your organisation and the UK economy and society to continue to flourish in the coming decade?

Future Decoded
to be held at ExCeL London, from Monday 10th November to Wednesday 12th November is designed to debate these issues. Satya Nadella – in his first appearance in the UK as CEO of Microsoft – will join forces with some of the UK’s leading business thinkers on the first day of the event including Jeremy Paxman, Sir Bob Geldof, and Dame Stella Rimington, to explore how we can challenge ourselves to better prepare today for the world of tomorrow.

At the event, speakers will discuss the drivers impacting how economies are run, how societies develop, and the pivotal role that transformational technology might play in making necessary changes.

The following days will see physicist Brian Cox, OBE, take to the stage along with Michael Taylor, IT Director at Lotus F1, and Sir Nigel Shadbolt, Co-founder and Chairman of the ODI Open Data Institute, all of whom will be discussing the future of technology.

Attendees at Future Decoded will have the chance to meet like-minded people to exchange ideas and perspectives – all to help create the room to think differently and plan for the future.
