Man using Microsoft Lumia phone

This month we’re bringing you some of the greatest apps on Microsoft Lumia phones with a sporting twist as some of the biggest fixtures of 2016 get under way over the next few weeks.

March looks set to be a crowd pleaser for sports fans everywhere with the RBS 6 Nations, the Champions League ongoing, and Sport Relief. With the Microsoft Store, it’s never been easier to keep up-to-date with your favourite teams. For example, the dedicated 6 Nations app will provide everything you need – from timetables, to fixtures, team stats and results, which are updated in real time. The latest version of the EuroSport.com app also means you can track the most exciting matches and races across football, tennis and also the F1. For the football fanatics, Live Football is the home of everything football that you’ll need throughout the Champions League, so you can check fixtures, forecasts, performance history and game summaries, and arm yourself with all the pub ammo you’ll ever need.

Lastly, for the ultimate sports fan who never wants miss goal, win or hole in one, Sky Sports is the ultimate app for you.

We’ll be back with another fix of the best apps for Windows Phone next month, but enjoy these in the meantime!
