Chelsea to extend Premier League lead to 10 points while Arsenal will drop out of top four, Bing predicts

Chelsea will extend their lead at the top of the Premier League this weekend when they beat Swansea City, Bing has predicted.

According to Microsofts search engine, Antonio Conte’s men are set for an easy win at Stamford Bridge, netting them an overall total of 63 points – an unsurprising prediction given Chelsea’s form this season, coupled with the fact that Diego Costa has scored more goals against Swansea than any other Premier League team.

Chelseas win will place the club 10 points ahead of London rivals Tottenham, who are strongly favoured (86%) to win their match at White Hart Lane against mid-table Stoke City on Sunday.

Arsenal and Liverpool, who have been battling to stay in the top four this season, are expected to swap positions, with Liverpool beating struggling Leicester City to take fourth place, bumping Arsenal down to fifth.

Its not all bad news for Gunners fans, however. Arsène Wengers team, like Manchester City, Southampton and Manchester United, will not be playing any Premier League matches this weekend, so they could still retake their fourth place position if they win their next match against Liverpool on March 4.

Further down the table, Burnley are expected to rise to ninth place after their win against struggling Hull, with Watford moving up to eighth – they have a 55% chance of beating West Ham.

Sunderlands poor performance looks set to continue, with a predicted 78% chance of losing against Everton, keeping them at the bottom of the table.

Bing has created its predictions using a complex algorithm that analyses player performance.
