A Heston Blumenthal bot that teaches you how to cook has been released by Skype.

The Michelin-star chef offers stories, recipes, tips and experiments via instant messages and photos, so you can create the perfect meal in your own kitchen.

The “Heston Bot” will offer new recipes every month based on different seasons and themes, while cooking information, stories and chats will be sent between the episodes.

“Whether you’re new to cooking or a seasoned pro, we want to empower you to think differently about food,” Skype wrote in a blog post. “That’s why we’re excited to launch the first-ever food-inspired ‘Heston Bot’ exclusively for Skype, bringing you up close and personal with legendary chef Heston Blumenthal, whose creative and technical expertise, welcoming personality and experimental flair will now be accessible to all through the Heston Bot.

“Combing a lifetime of culinary experimentation with the power of conversational computing, the Heston Bot provides users with eye-opening cooking tips, exclusive seasonal menus, and personal anecdotes directly from the master. With Heston, cooking becomes a fun and immersive experience that evolves as your skills do.”
