Pride parade in London

More than 100 people from Microsoft, SwiftKey, Microsoft Research and LinkedIn have taken part in this year’s Pride in London.

It was the ninth year that Microsoft has taken part in the annual event, which attracts tens of thousands of participants and more than a million spectators.

Staff were joined by people from Microsoft’s partners, including Dell, and the wider technology industry, such InterTech.

Microsoft has been working since 1993 to help lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people. It has set up employee groups for LGBT staff and was one of the first companies in the world to offer benefits to same-sex domestic partners.
