Arsenal will slump to another defeat against Tottenham in Premier League, Bing predicts

Arsenal‘s poor run against the best teams in the Premier League will continue this weekend when they will be swept aside by Tottenham Hotspur, Bing has predicted.

The Gunners, who lost to first-placed Manchester City in the last round of domestic matches, only have a 22% chance of beating their North London rivals at the Emirates on Saturday, according to Microsoft’s search engine. Spurs have a 53% chance of victory.

Arsenal are on their longest ever winless run against Tottenham in the Premier League, having drawn four and lost two of the past six matches against them. In-form Spurs striker Harry Kane has scored in all five of his top-flight north London derbies, netting six goals in total.

The expected win will keep Mauricio Pochettino’s men in third and in the running for the title, with the teams around them also set to win their games. Arsenal will slip down to seventh following Burnley’s home win against Swansea.

Manchester City will take all three points at Leicester’s King Power Stadium, maintaining their eight-point lead at the top of the league. They have a 46% chance of victory. The Sky Blues currently have 31 points with a goal difference of +31 – the best-ever start after 11 matches of a Premier League season.

Local rivals Manchester United will lead the chasing pack, as Bing gives them an 89% chance of beating Newcastle United. Man United have won 22 and lost only one of their past 32 league matches against Newcastle United at Old Trafford – won 22, drawn nine and lost one.

Chelsea will remain in fourth, completing the Champions League qualification positions, by beating West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns (76% chance). West Bromwich Albion have lost all 11 of their previous Premier League home matches against reigning champions, with an aggregate score of 8-28.

Liverpool will remain in fifth with a home win against Southampton. They have an 89% chance of beating the Saints and have lost only two of their past 32 Premier League matches at Anfield (won 19 drawn 11 and lost two). Mohamed Salah, who has scored seven goals for the Reds this season, could equal or break Robbie Fowler’s Liverpool record of eight goals in his first 12 Premier League matches for them.

At the other end of the table, Crystal Palace, Swansea and West Ham are expected to stay in the relegation zone following defeats by Everton, Burnley and Watford, respectively.
