Liverpool will jump ahead of Tottenham and into third place in the Premier League this Saturday by beating Watford, Bing has predicted.
In a relatively quiet weekend for football – only four matches will be played – the Reds will strengthen their claim for a Champions League spot, according to Microsoft’s search engine.
Bing has given Jurgen Klopp’s men an 89% chance of victory at Anfield, with Watford handed just a 6% chance. Liverpool, who lost at Manchester United last weekend, have never been defeated in consecutive Premier League matches under Klopp. They last did so in September 2015 under Brendan Rodgers.
Fans are almost guaranteed to see a match full of action. There has never been a goalless draw between the two sides in the top flight, with 72 goals scored in the 21 previous meetings at an average of 3.4 per match.
Crystal Palace, who are in 18th and occupy the last relegation spot, will draw level on points with Southampton – one place above them – by drawing with Huddersfield. There is a 38% chance of the two teams sharing the points, according to Bing.
Palace should welcome back Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Yohan Cabaye and Mamadou Sakho back to the team, alongside Wilfried Zaha, who made his return in last week’s defeat to Chelsea.
Bournemouth will heap further woe on West Brom on Saturday. The Cherries have a 64% chance of winning at the Vitality Stadium, which will move them up into 11th and keep the Baggies rooted to the bottom of the league with just seven games left.
Bournemouth have scored in their past 11 Premier League matches but have only kept one clean sheet in that time, conceding in 16 of their last 17 outings in total.
Finally, Everton have a 43% chance of taking all three points away at Stoke. The Merseyside club will remain in ninth, while Stoke will stay in the bottom three, a point behind Palace and Southampton.
Bing creates its predictions using a complex algorithm that analyses player performance.
