Microsoft UK has appointed Gavin Jackson (above), former CEO of EMEA for UiPath, a global leader in robotic process automation (RPA) software, to succeed Damian Stirrett as the Managing Director of Microsoft UK’s Enterprise Commercial business. Stirrett, who has successfully led the UK’s Enterprise business for six years, is moving to a new role within Microsoft.
Previous to UiPath, Jackson spent more than four years at Amazon Web Services, where he oversaw its UK and EU operations. He was responsible for leading teams and implementing strategic initiatives that helped customers adopt a cloud-first strategy as part of their digital transformation journey. Jackson joins Microsoft today.
