Microsoft Hong Kong announces pre-orders of new Surface Laptop Go and Surface Pro X with new accessories starting 21 October 2020
October 21, 2020, Hong Kong – Microsoft today announced that pre-orders for the new Surface Laptop Go and updated Surface Pro X will commence from 21 October 2020 in Hong Kong via the Microsoft Online Store and designated retailer partners (Fortress, Broadway, Suning, csl, 1O1O and Club Like) for consumers, while Surface for Business customers from commercial or education sectors can connect with authorized Surface resellers or any commercial resellers for offer details.
Starting at HK$4,988, Surface Laptop Go delivers the perfect balance of style, performance, and battery life in the lightest and most affordable Surface laptop yet. The latest updates to Surface Pro X, starting HK$12,888, offer a new configuration that includes Microsoft’s next-generation custom processor and a new Platinum finish, along with new app experiences. This results in longer battery life and increased performance across all Surface Pro X devices.

Surface Laptop Go
Surface Laptop Go has a beautiful 12.4” PixelSense touchscreen display[1], large precision trackpad and a full-size keyboard with 1.3mm key travel for an accurate and comfortable typing experience. The sleek, streamlined design comes in three durable and lightweight metal finishes: Ice Blue, Sandstone and Platinum[2].
For a quick and secure sign-in, select models of Surface Laptop Go have a Fingerprint Power Button with One Touch sign-in through Windows Hello. One Touch sign-in also provides fast, secured access to OneDrive Personal Vault files and more, so users can jump in quickly and be productive. Surface Laptop Go is powered by Intel’s 10th generation i5 Quad-Core processor with up to 16GB RAM and 256GB storage[3] and every configuration is optimized for performance and battery life.

Surface Pro X
For customers who need more power, Microsoft has refreshed its top end Surface Pro X SKUs by adding the new Microsoft SQ® 2 processor – the fastest processor in its class – and a new Platinum finish. Microsoft will also be introducing three new colors[5] for the Signature Keyboard: Platinum, Ice Blue and Poppy Red, all with the same built-in storage and wireless charging for the Surface Slim Pen.
Surface Pro X brings the best of today’s web-first experiences like Microsoft 365, Microsoft Edge, Netflix, Spotify and more, while supporting thousands of the existing Windows apps like Google Chrome, Firefox, and Whatsapp. There is increased momentum from key app partners[6] embracing Windows on ARM, taking advantage of the power and performance benefits of Microsoft SQ®1 and SQ®2 processors to bring new experiences for all Surface Pro X customers.
