Gizbot: Preview version of Microsoft Edge for iOS updated with 3D Touch support

Microsoft has rolled out a new update to the preview version of Microsoft Edge for iOS. Apart from some minor changes, the update has most significantly added support for 3D Touch. So once this feature is enabled, users can press the Edge icon on the iPhone home screen and perform various tasks such as launching a voice search, opening a new tab, or even launch a QR scanner.

Microsoft Garage, where employees test any project idea to get more focused on what customers really want, has come up with another lock screen for Android phones. This one, called ‘Favorites Lock Screen’, is the fourth, after Next Lock Screen, for Android; Tetra Lock Screen, for Windows Phone; and Picturesque Lock Screen, for Android. Each of these have been designed for different types of users by focusing on different value propositions, says a Microsoft blog post.
