The world needs technological breakthroughs like the emerging artificial intelligence (AI) industry to kick start weak economic growth, according to Satya Nadella, the chief executive officer at Microsoft. Speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Nadella said, “It’s not like we actually have economic growth today. So we actually need technological breakthrough, we need AI.”

Now users can install OpenSUSE Linux on their Windows 10 subsystem. This new support has surfaced from the latest Windows Insider Preview release to help you access the open source platform right from your Windows 10 system.

“The fundamental need of every person is to be able to use their time more effectively,” said Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Satya Nadella in an interview at the DLD conference in Munich. “This year and the next will be the key to democratizing AI. The most exciting thing to me is not just our own promise of AI as exhibited by these products, but to take that capability and put it in the hands of every developer and every organization.”

Microsoft wants users to be extra secure so it plans to lock their PC anytime they walk away from it. Windows Central reports the company is building a new feature for Windows 10 that will automatically lock screen whenever users step away from device. Microsoft refers to the new functionality as ‘Windows Goodbye,’.
