Microsoft has contracted Bloom Wind farm in Kansas to provide 178 megawatts, and the Silver Sage and Happy Jack farms in Wyoming to provide an additional 59 megawatts. This isn’t the only clean energy deal Microsoft has inked in recent years. It already has a 75-megawatt agreement with a wind farm in Illinois, and a 100-megawatt agreement with one in Texas. In total, Microsoft has purchased 500 megawatts of energy from wind power sources.

Microsoft has rolled out a new update for Microsoft on Linux version 1.12. The new update is still in the alpha development stage for the moment, meaning the company is still refining and adding new features to the app. The new update brings only three worthy changes, including improved authentication process with switch to Microsoft Account options. So far, Microsoft’s slimmer Xbox One revision had not been launched or even confirmed for the island nation. However, the software giant has finally confirmed that they will be bringing the Xbox One S over to Japan during an event held at the Toranomon Hills Forum venue in Tokyo. The console goes on sale on November 24, 2016. The price will be 34,980 yen for the Xbox One S 1TB bundle with Halo 5: Guardians.

The Xbox One S has been an enormously successful release for Microsoft, and it has seen Microsoft finally begin to reclaim the sales crown somewhat from Sony and PlayStation. The Xbox One has outsold PS4 in the US for a few months now and it has also been outselling it in the UK. Now, it looks like a third country has been added to that list, because Microsoft have announced that in Australia, the Xbox One was the bestselling console from August 1 to October 30.
